Dr. Helene Ta
General & Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Helene Ta has lived in Central Florida for most of her life. She attended University of Missouri - Kansas City, School of Dentistry, and started traveling around the US whenever she had a break from school. Upon graduation in 1997, she found herself down back to her home state and its beautiful beaches and friendly people. She returned to Florida and set up her dental practice in Lake County.

Dentistry combines Dr. Ta's two passions, art and science, allowing her to improve patient's lives through better health and self-image. With a constant eye on the latest technology to ensure that her patients receive the best dental care, Dr. Ta has spent hundreds of hours in advanced training. She has experience in complex full mouth rehabilitation, facelift dentures, and all-on X implants. Dr. Ta has also incorporated cutting edge and state of the art equipment and technology to provide a calm and relaxing atmosphere for her patients.

In her free time, Dr. Ta loves to travel and immersing herself in learning about different cultures. Having played the piano since childhood, she has recently found an interesting modern arrangements of some classical pieces. Dr. Ta enjoys training for marathons and dreams of running in the Boston Marathon one day.

Dr. Ta is a part of the Fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central Florida Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry and Vietnamese Medical Association.

Heather
Hygienist
Heather started her career in dentistry as a dental assistant in April 2001. She worked as a dental assistant while attending college to become a dental hygienist. Heather graduated from Valencia College in Orlando in 2004. Heather was one of the first hygienists in Florida to receive her certification to administer anesthetic at the University of Florida in 2012. Heather joined Lake Quality Dental in June 2018 and is extremely grateful to be part of an exceptional team!
Heather grew up here in Lady Lake, FL and have seen The VIllages transform. She married her high school sweetheart in 2001. She has two amazing children, Ethan and Julia. They have the privilege of attending the Villages Charter High School. Heather love to spend time outdoors, hiking, fishing, boating, bicycling, building sandcastles. She enjoys traveling to new places and experiencing new things. Last summer Heather and her family did their first level 5 water rafting trip down the New River in WV. Dinnertime is a fun time in her home. They take turns selecting recipes to prepare and music is almost always playing.

Debra
Office Manager
Debra is our front office coordinator and manager and has been with our dental family at Lake Quality Dental since 2014. Debra brings 20 years of dental experience to our office.
Debra lived in Minnesota and moved to The Villages FL in 1998.
Debra has 3 children. They are her pride and joy. Her oldest sone Luke is a Chiropractor and resides in MN with his wife and 2 daughters.
Her Daughter Kaylee lives in WA and is a social worker. Her youngest son Adam graduated from the Village Charger High School in 2021. He works at Advent Hosipital in Orlando as a surgical Tech and attemds Cambridge Health College studying radiology.

Debra's interests in her spare time are going to the Village Squares, listening to music, walking, shopping, and movies. Her greatest joy are her grand daughter Elle and Greta. She travels to MN to see them as often as she can.
Joy
Dental Assistant
Joy is a native of Florida and began her career as a Certified Dental Assistant 35 years ago. She has many years of chair side assisting experience. Joy started working with Dr. Ta in 2002 when she had her practice in Tavares. She enjoys getting to know her patients and making sure they receive the absolute highest standard care. In her spare time Joy enjoys spending time with her husband of 37 years, grown children and her 2 beautiful grandkids, Maverick & Zoe.

Dental Assistant
Meet Jen, our newest dental assistant. She has been in the dental field for over twenty years. She loves what she does and likes to help patients feel at ease.
She is the proud mother of two adult children, Brianna and Tim, and has a black lab named Duggy. In her free time she enjoys crafting, cooking, gardening, nature and traveling with her husband and best friend Rob.
Val
Dental Assistant
Valeria Harris received her license in Dental Clinical Functions with over 30 years of experience as a dental
assistant. Val also taught the Clinical Function class as a CDA for Assistants at Lake Sumter community college for 3 years.
Val's hobbies are taking care of my fur babies: Hyway is 2 (the dog) and Special is 1 (the cat) are good reasons for getting the day started.
Val's other hobbies are Church, visiting family, movies, game day with friends, traveling (cruises) and train rides.
